It is recommended that your system support an internet upload speed of 1Mbps and download speed of 1.5Mbps, but it is acceptable to have a minimum upload speed of .384Mbps and download speed of .768Mbps.
PRINCE2 Foundation before Practitioner
There are two levels of PRINCE2 certification available namely PRINCE2 Foundation and PRINCE2 Practitioner. PRINCE2 Foundation will give you a firm understanding of the PRINCE2 methodology while PRINCE2 Practitioner will ready you to take on projects in a workplace. In order to gain the Practitioner certification, you will need to pass the Foundation level exam first, as it is a prerequisite to the Practitioner exam.
Technical Requirements
Make sure that your PC or Apple Mac conform to the required technical requirements in order to take your PRINCE2 exam online. PC users will need to have at least Windows Vista installed on their systems. Any later operating systems up to Windows 8 are also welcomed.
Mac users
For MAC users, you will need Mac OS X 10.5 as a minimum requirement with Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite being recommended.
Recommended memory
Your preferred device will need to have a minimum of 1024MB RAM with a recommended 2MB of RAM.

It is preferred that you use Google Chrome as your web browser during the PRINCE2 exam, but Mozilla Firefox or Safari are also acceptable. Also make sure that you have Adobe Flash Player v12 and Adobe Shockwave player installed.
Exam cost
The cost to write the PRINCE2 Foundation exam is £210 and the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam is available at £286.
Exam Availability
In order to check PRINCE2 exam availability, navigate to the ProctorU website and register an account. You will then be able to pick the exam that you would like to take and choose the date and time that will best suit you. The PRINCE2 exams can be taken at any time, 24/7.
PRINCE2 Exam Results
When you have completed your PRINCE2 exam, you will be issued with a provisional PRINCE2 exam result. The awarding body (APMG) will, however, first verify the result and, once that is done (usually within 10 to 14 working days), you will be issued with your official APMG certificate and you will be officially PRINCE2 certified.
