What is the typical work environment for this career?
As an IT Support Technician you will typically be office-based, working Monday to Friday on average 35-40 hours per week. However, you may be expected to work extra hours in order to finish a job.
Due to the nature of the work, you may be expected to work shifts or be on call should any major incidents arise. You will be expected to work as fast as you can to minimise disruption to the business.
