MoV stands for Management of Value, which is a framework designed to help organisations create and sustain value in programmes, projects, and portfolios. The MoV framework provides a structured approach for identifying, prioritising, and realising value opportunities, while balancing benefits, costs, and risk.
The MoV certification is designed for three main groups of people. The first group is individuals working in an organisation who want to learn about MoV, whether or not it is already being used in their organisation. The second group is the PPM (Portfolio, Programme, and Project Management) community, including senior management, programme and project managers, change managers, and staff in Project and Programme Offices and their sponsors. The third group is people who use other PPM guides and want to improve their ability to maximise value and benefits.
The MoV Foundation certification is assessed and awarded by means of an examination. This exam comprises of 50 multiple choice questions (meaning you will have to select your answers from the options you are provided with).
Your exam will be 40 minutes long, and you will be required to score 50% (25 out of 50) or higher in order to pass. This is a closed-book exam.
