Design processes are extremely important in achieving continual improvement of services within the IT lifecycle. The ITIL Service Design certification aims to teach students how to improve IT and user needs by aligning them with the organisation’s IT services. It also teaches the importance of consistent service design practices that will allow for this alignment to be achieved.
Upon completion of this course, students will have gained the ability to modify existing IT services in order to align them with organisational requirements. This course provides 3 credits towards the total of 22 credits needed to gain the ITIL Expert certification.
