Student Success Stories of 2022

I began on a Project Management bundle last October and it’s currently January. Through this space of time, I’ve gone from zero formal training in Project Management to a Foundation certificate holder in PRINCE2, Agile and Change Management. On top of that I have also put myself through PRINCE2 Practitioner.

All of this learning has empowered me and has enabled me to become employed within a Project Management position, and all within the space of only a few months.

The reason for me applying through ITonlinelearning was because I really wanted to get into project management. That was one thing that really interested me while I was studying at Uni. I really wanted to get some sort of qualifications or training in this field, and I thought that this programme was the right choice for me.

All throughout your course you get lots of mentor support. I thought my mentor was really professional, very helpful and supportive in what he does. I did struggle quite a lot in the beginning with trying to understand a lot of things, but my mentor had some notes to give out which I thought was really great.

After I finished all 4 exams, I then had the opportunity to undertake the simulated project management assignment where you are given a project scenario and everything you have learned throughout the course starts to fall into place. For me, this was the most fun part.

I started my recruitment process in October, it’s January now and I’m very happy to say that I’ve received a total of 3 job offers and it’s really fantastic. I’m due to start next week as a Continuous Improvement Coordinator.

The reason why I chose this course is because I just embarked on my career as a Business Data Analyst and I was looking for something that would increase my skill set, enhance my experience and push me to that next level.

The tutor Gregg for the PRINCE2 was excellent and the analogies he uses makes the information so easy to digest. The Student Support, Ryan in particular, was also very helpful, right from the point of my enrolment up until me revising for my exam. The online platform is very user friendly and practical, it allowed me to study on the fly which was very helpful.

The content provided in the courses is quite comprehensive, it gives you a very detailed understanding of how to manage projects, all the concepts, all the principles, all the processes and details of all the documents and how to compile those. This helped me to understand where I can add value in a project management role.

I managed to successfully pass all of my courses and all the exams that I undertook.

My professional background is in retail and finance where I spent the last 15 years in senior management working alongside PM teams. It’s this explosion that prompted me to make a career move in May last year where I came across ITonlinelearning and enrolled in their Project Management package.

Shortly after the recruitment induction, I was able to secure multiple offers and have now settling into my current role as a PMO Project Manager at a global IT company. The course certifications definitely helped me secure a role in the project management sector. However, the business analysis course particularly helped me stand out.

I found ITonlinelearning on Google, I was looking for project management certifications and some different courses to make my CV look a little bit better. I found some reviews online on ITonlinelearning and all of them were really good so I decided to go ahead.

I got a job as an associate consultant at a company called CapCo, and it was thanks to having project management skills, having those certifications and being able to do the interviews well.

I highly recommend ITonlinelearning if you are looking to update your skills, update your CV, if you are doing a career change or maybe it’s your first job, whatever it is, this is a very helpful process with different tutors, coaches and having that guidance and support, it’s all one huge package.

My mentor was always available when I had questions to ask him, the course material was easy to understand and learn. I made sure that I spaced my time out properly so that I was able to apply the things I was learning from the programme into my project management internship role, to the point where my supervisor was quite impressed by my knowledge about the industry and they did end up asking me to come back.

I would definitely recommend signing up to ITonlinelearning, I think it’s a great investment in terms of your skillset as well as your knowledge and can definitely help you enter a new sector and a new industry.

My experience with ITonlinelearning has been extremely wonderful. I have no regrets that I took this package. The team is great, my mentor has been extremely helpful and has always provided me with the right resources and cleared any doubts for my exams. My recruitment manager has been a wonderful guide and has always been there.

I was working full-time, so I didn’t really have much time to dedicate to the studies but within 9/10 months I managed to finish all the certifications.

After I got my updated CV, I applied randomly for jobs and a few of them offered me interviews straight away. When I started to look properly for a job, I got a lot of replies and managed to secure good interviews. Within 11 months, I secured a position as a Project Manager for a reputable company in Scotland.

I did PRINCE2 and AgilePM from home, and the Business Analysis one I did in an exam centre. I enjoyed both of them. It was quite exciting doing it from the exam centre.

Jess has supported me, whether it’s been from looking at job applications and mock interviews. She’s always been there for any help or any questions. Even when she was really busy to do the mock interview, she prepared the questions and she got someone else to do that with me, which I thought was really good and it really helped me build my confidence when going into the interview. From working with Jess I have now got my first job as Project Administrator.

I had a lot of work experience in Project Management prior to joining the courses at ITonlinelearning, but I wanted to increase my competency and knowledge within the field.

I would recommend ITonlinelearning to anybody, it’s a very well run and professional organisation. The people are very determined on you succeeding and walking in to a project management role that you will be happy with.

I have gained a position within the NHS as a Project Administrator which I am due to start on Monday.

To anyone who is thinking about these courses, I would highly recommend them. Even during these uncertain times, ITonlinelearning have allowed me to pursue a whole new career and find something I am finally happy in.

I signed up in April 2021 and since then I’ve done the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner, Agile Foundation and Change Management Foundation. I did all 4 exams and completed them within about 4 months.

Within a couple of days from completing my studies, I was passed on to the recruitment team. Their support and help has been absolutely exceptional.

I started studying the Project Management Placement Programme in June 2020. Personally, I wasn’t looking to complete the courses in any rush, I was looking for something where I could proactively work as well as do the courses and complete them at the same time. Luckily enough with ITonlinelearning I had more than enough support and help along the way to do that effectively.

Now having completed my PRINCE2, Change Management and AgilePM Foundation, I’m very pleased to say that I have gained a new role in a sector which I was very keen to get a foothold into, and it’s paying nearly double the initial salary I was on.

I started my journey into Project Management in September 2020. I made a start with Ryan as my coach to help mentor me through all the qualifications that I was doing. I did my PRINCE2 Foundation, Agile Foundation and I choose to do the Change Management Foundation. I worked my way through those and finished those in late November which then moved me onto the recruitment side.

After that I moved into the recruitment process with Amelia as my helper and she got me my CV, she helped me find jobs, she helped with cover letters and interview prep and anything I needed. Then in mid-January after having a few interviews, I had a first interview with a company and then they wanted a second interview but I had surgery on my shoulder, so I had my final interview with the company I will be started to work with a few days after my surgery.

A little over a year now.

I started this course because I really enjoyed planning and managing part of a group project in my undergrad. During my project management studies I then developed a particular interest for software project management so I decided to get a Masters where I can now build on my skills and combine them with programming.

Before I started the program I was really sceptical about what it entailed. I wasn’t sure whether it would be value for money or whether I would enjoy it. But I knew one thing for sure, I really needed some formal qualifications, because I hadn’t done any in the last 20 years. So I took a leap of faith and for me I must say that it was the best thing I did for myself.

I would say yes, in my case 100% certainly, and I would highly recommend them. The one thing I would say to you is that I see it as a 50/50 partnership with them, because you do need to put that time in and have that commitment to invest in yourself.

Coming from 10 years in hospitality it was a very different area for me to go into, however, all the information was easily understandable and approachable online.

After finishing I sat my 3 exams, which luckily went really well. Then I started working with my recruitment assistants, I worked with Amelia and Jess who were both amazing and really supportive. Jess helped me throughout the long period of looking for a job, obviously due to Covid everything had pushed down a notch but Jess helped me with keeping my spirits up and also it was lovely to have chats with her whilst looking for different opportunities.

All in all it was an amazing experience, I have just recently managed to start a new job as a Customer Relations Executive in a world-wide brand so I’m really happy and I’m really thankful to all the team at ITonlinelearning. I hope that one day we can all work together again.

Last year when I started looking for a job, it took me time to realise the role I wanted to do, so when I made up my mind I was going to go into Project Management and I said I’d do my research. And because of this research on Google, ITonlinelearning was one of the first searches that came up. So I applied for a Project Management role and I got a call back and I was advised that in order to go into Project Management you needed some qualifications like the PRINCE2, Agile and then you choose between Change or Business Analysis.

The best part about this is because I finished the courses it gave me more insight into the Project role and what Project Managers are expected to do. And this is a very relevant role now, because with Covid now projects would still be rolling out, especially in change and introducing new processes to the system.

The best part of this programme is your CV transformation, I send in my original CV and gave details on what I like and my interests and in 2 weeks I got my CV back and when I saw the CV it was beautiful, and it gave me the confidence needed to apply for roles. I got my CV in December and by March I was able to land my first role with the help of my CV and support from Lauretta.

In the space of just over a year, I completed 3 certifications in Project Management including Agile, PRINCE2 and Change Management.

I recommend ITonlinelearning to anyone who wants to bolster their certifications and qualifications, or even just take a step into the project management industry.

I thought the courses were absolutely brilliant, they were explained so well and the course materials were great too. They give you a practice exam paper for every exam which you can do at any time and also mark yourself, which I found really helpful as you could see which areas you were stuck on. I passed all my exams first time!

I have just been offered a job as a Project Coordinator, which is my dream job and I’m so happy. I want to give a really special thanks to everyone at ITonlinelearning.

I signed up to do the project management course because I was looking for a career change. So I thought if I could get PRINCE2 and Agile under my belt that would give me a better chance at getting a job.

I was assigned a recruiter who was really positive, we went through what kind of jobs I was looking for and went through my CV. She also gave me useful information on interview tips and how to write a good cover letter, as well as a LinkedIn profile.

What I would say is if you are looking to go through this route, you do need to be very proactive yourself. ITonlinelearning aren’t there to find you a job, they’re there to support you.

I started the programme during the pandemic and completed the course within 6/7 months.

I would recommend ITonlinelearning to anyone, you get all the support you need from them. I’m very excited to start my new job in Project Management.

Throughout the entire experience everyone in the ITOnlinelearning team has been incredibly supportive and helpful. During my courses, my tutor was on hand to give me any help or advice. With his help I passed all my exams with flying colours.

I have since landed a position as a Project Analyst and I’m really excited to start my career in Project Management.

The programme included 4 courses, 3 of which were foundation level and 1 which was practitioner level. The foundation level courses were Change Management, PRINCE2 and AgilePM, then there was the PRINCE2 Practitioner. I passed all the courses first time with help from the tutors of ITonlinelearning.

I ended up getting a really good job that I’m really proud of as a Project Support in an engineering firm in the Northwest.

I enrolled onto the Project Management course at the beginning of 2020.

Overall, my experience with ITonlinelearning has been great. The platform is really easy to use, the modules are composed of videos between 20 and 50 minutes, followed by a quiz that really helps you prepare for the exams.

Overall my experience with ITonlinelearning was very positive. The course material they give you is very easy to navigate and easy to use, it’s all done in video form. You are also provided with all the exam practice papers. I managed to pass all my exams pretty much first time.

After doing the recruitment process, I started off at the beginning of May and ended up landing a job at the very end of May, within three weeks I ended up getting three interviews from different companies. I managed to land the last job which is an entry-level role in an international professional services company and I start off with £22,000.

ITonlinelearning has been an amazing experience and it has helped me get into a sector which is pretty difficult to get into. I don’t think I would have been able to do it without their help.

9 months ago I was faced with a difficult situation, a threat of being made redundant and I didn’t know what to do. I started looking for new employment and re-evaluating my skills. I came across a course and it was advertising a Project Management course, so I spoke to a lady and started my journey.

I am really happy to say that I have found a placement within an IT company, and I will be a new Project Coordinator.

I have recently secured a role as a Project Coordinator with a construction company in London, through ITonlinelearning.

I have been learning through ITonlinelearning since this time last year on the Project Management Placement Programme. I did my PRINCE2 Foundation, AgilePM Foundation, Business Analysis Foundation, and Change Management Foundation, as well as their Project Management Fundamentals which is a really good course by the way.

I finally landed a job that 2 years ago I would never have dreamed I would have been in a position where I was getting a decent wage, good benefits and where I would be getting treated like a professional.

The training material has been great. The trainer uses very good analogies and the explanation style has definitely helped.

I have only had one interview, and that was enough. The first interview that I got, I secured the job.

I moved to the UK to obtain a Masters Degree in Business Administration, during this period I made the decision to go for a career change from Customer Relationship Management in the financial sector. I would say that the Covid pandemic informed my decision to start a career in the IT industry, more specifically seeing how industries have adapted quickly to new ways of working, new methods of engaging customers and a more versatile business approach.

This certification I earned helped me secure a role as a Business Analyst within a month, and I would like to add that the CV review sessions I had tremendously increased my chances of securing this role.

I took up this course as I realised in recent times that I have got gaps in my knowledge. My work up until now has been years spent with requirement gathering, focusing on agile adoption and a few other aspects relating to requirements and some documentation without fully appreciating the scope of the role.

With the study of literature provided and guidance from Ryan and the rest of the team, I have been able to learn a whole lot more about the role. I have been able to study thoroughly, go through documentation and pass the exam first time.

I am actually moving into systems architecture and solution architecture. However, this course and the underlying principles that it has helped enforce and instil into me will go on and be a fantastic cornerstone for those skills. The knowledge that I have learnt, materials I will be able to keep and the additional membership to BCS will solidify my career prospects for the next 5 to 10 years and beyond.

The course was very well formatted, had a very clear storyline that went through. The trainer was very good in the videos and whatever doubts I had was cleared so well by my tutor at ITonlinelearning.

What I found useful in doing this course is that it got me into a corporate mindset using the right terminology to be able to face interviews. And not only face and answer questions that they asked me, but to also ask them the right questions.

Six (6) months ago I decided I needed a new challenge in my life and started studying with ITonlinelearning.

I started learning 2 months ago and have just done my final internal test, it was really hard but I managed to do it. Now I’m waiting for an interview and hopefully in a short time I will become an IT professional.
